Kabiru Gaya: Osinbajo Not Sidelined In Tinubu’s Campaign

  Former Kano State governor, Senator  Kabiru Gaya , has insisted that contrary to reports making the rounds, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was not sidelined in the formation of the presidential campaign team of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Gaya, who served as the Director-General of the support groups of Osinbajo when the vice president sought the presidential ticket of the APC, told journalists in Kano that the Osinbajo remained committed to the presidential ambition of the APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kogi Assembly Inferno: Probe Begins, Dangote Denies Involvement

  The Kogi State government has initiated a probe into the fire incident which gutted the state House of Assembly yesterday. In a statement, the commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, said the state government wished to inform the people of Kogi and other Nigerians that the House of Assembly had been razed down by fire. He said the sad incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday . According to him, security and technical experts have started working hard to unravel the cause(s) of the inferno which caused significant damage to the complex. Fanwo said the state government would inform the general public of findings as they unfold. The commissioner said the state government would make temporary arrangements to ensure that legislative business was not halted as a result of the unfortunate incident. Mukhtar Shagari: I Declined Being Obi's Vice President Because He Cannot Win

  A former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State,  Mukhtar Shagari, has revealed that he was contacted by the Labour Party to become Peter Obi’s vice presidential candidate . We Own Obajana Cement Plant 100% – Dangote Group

  The  management of Dangote Industries Ltd. (DIL) says it owns Obajana Cement 100 per cent and its acquisition in 2002 followed due process. Dilichukwu Okonkwo Aka Tidinz Dies At 26

  We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our brother and friend Richard Dilichukwu Okonkwo a.k.a Tidinz, who sadly and suddenly departed to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Tidinz did not die from any overdose as widely reported by the media. He had a health condition that was linked to depression and stress. He fought! He was strong! He was a warrior! Richard who died at the hospital in the arms of his father on Sunday 9th October promised his fans an album project and his homecoming concert before the end of the year which he has been working very hard on so as to give out the best to his fans. Sanwo-Olu Plans Health Insurance Cover For Theatre Practitioners

  Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide  Sanwo-Olu has announced plans to institute a health insurance scheme for theatre practitioners in the State. Governor Sanwo-Olu announced the health insurance scheme during a dinner with veterans in the Yoruba Nollywood industry at the Lagos House Marina on Monday night. The announcement by Governor Sanwo-Olu was commended by the Nollywood actors and actresses at the event who appreciated the Governor for deeming it fit to take care of the health of the theatre practitioners, especially the veterans in the industry. It would be recalled that in recent times, theatre practitioners battling various health challenges and lacking funds have had to take to social media to beg Nigerians to foot their medical bills.  Some are also living in penury due to their inability to work in old age and health challenges.
