US President, Joe Biden has signed new legislation protecting same-sex and interracial marriage. Biden held an event at the White House South Lawn with lawmakers and Cabinet members as the Respect for Marriage Act becomes law. "Today is a good day," Biden said as he took the podium after Vice President Kamala Harris. "A day America takes a vital step toward equality, for liberty and justice, not just for some, but for everyone.
