  The   Governing Council of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti has approved the promotion of 333 members of staff across academic and non-teaching sections. FUOYE management team, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Abayomi Fasina, had submitted the list of qualified academic and non-academic staff members to the council for promotion consideration. The Special Adviser to the VC on Media, Wole Balogun, announced the promotion of the staff members in a statement on Saturday, titled, ‘Jubilation in FUOYE as management rolls out list of 333 newly promoted staff.” The statement noted that that the promotion came barely nine months after 429 staff members were promoted.
