  WOKE : University of Southern Maine students demand education professor be fired after she told class that there are only two sexes A group of students at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine are calling for their professor to be fired after she said in class only two sexes exist. Christy Hammer, a professor of education, allegedly made the statement during a heated debate about gender identity in her 'Creating a Positive Learning Environment' class, causing an uproar among the graduate students. Only one student agreed with the educator. The rest maintained both biological sexes and social genders are on a spectrum. Others attending the the class say most agreed that a spectrum exists for both gender and biological sex. British Man Traces His Missing Iphone To Nigeria A Month After It Went Missing

  A British man who lost his iPhone in the UK has discovered it in Nigeria. The man explained that the phone went missing a month ago when he was in town and he finally got access to his iCloud this October. When he searched for his phone's current location, he discovered it is in Edo state, Nigeria. He shared a screenshot of his phone's location and wrote: "Lost me phone in town like a month ago, just got back into my iCloud to find out it's went on holiday to Nigeria." Fight With Anthony Joshua Matter Of Time – Deontay Wilder

  Former world champion, Deontay Wilder has revealed that it is only a matter of time before a bout between him and Anthony Joshua takes place. We Are Not A Regional Party, Labour Party Rejects Okupe's Campaign List

  The Labour Party (LP) has dismissed the 1, 234 names released to spearhead the Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba-Ahmed Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 general election. A former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe was named Director-General of the campaign council while a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Mohammed Zarewa was named as the council’s chairman. Clement Ojukwu and Yunusa Tanko were named the secretary and Chief Spokesperson of the council respectively. The campaign council also has different directorates headed by a director. During the event, the chairman of the party, Julius Abure, was represented by the Secretary of the party, Umar Farouk. Governor Wike Appoints 28,000 Special Assistants For Political Units

  Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has appointed  28,000 Special Assistants for political units. A statement by the media aide to the Governor, Kelvin Ebiri, said the appointment takes immediate effect. This is coming less than 24 hours after the governor appointed 14,000 special advisers for the political units and 319 ward Liaison Officers. Smear Campaign Against Senator Orji Kalu Unacceptable — HURIWA

  A civil rights advocacy group, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), on Wednesday, affirmed that the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has demonstrated a comprehensive grasp of his primary mandate to his constituents. Adamu Garba To APC: New Party Won Lesotho, Don't Underestimate Obidients

  A former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba has warned his party not to underrate the Labour Party (LP) and his supporters in the 2023 presidential election. Garba said this on Wednesday via his verified Twitter handle in a reaction to Lesotho’s new party, Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) that won majority seats in the parliamentary election in the South African country. The new party, RFP was formed six months ago by a 64-year-old Lesotho businessman Sam Matekane and it defeated two major old parties in the country. RFP won 56 out of 120 seats in parliament according to final results published by the Lesotho Independent Electoral Commission (LIEC) on Monday. Anambra Imposes ₦100,000 On Burial Banners

  Anambra state governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Wednesday, imposed a sum of N100,000 as taxation for display of ceremonial banners like burial and weddings across the State. The governor also imposed N5,000 as taxation for pasting of posters in any part of the State, adding that whoever fails to remove the advertorials within the stipulated time for their removals would be taxed continuously until they adhered to the rule. The tax rates were contained in a viral letter addressed to the National President, Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) and signed by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Anambra State Signage and Advertisment Agency, Mr Tony Odili Ujubuon͂u. NLNG’s $10bn Train-7 Project Threatened Over Daewoo Shutdown

  The scheduled completion of the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Train-7 Project may be stalled, following the lingering  labour dispute between members of the National Association of Plant Operators and the management of Daewoo E &C Nigeria Limited . Daewoo, a South Korean firm , has been in an industrial crisis with its  workers who are protesting the refusal of the company to allow them to unionise under NAPO. They alleged illegal deductions of check-off dues from their salaries and dismissal of 24 of their colleagues. Following the dispute, the management of Daewoo Engineering and Construction Nigeria Limited has shut down its Train 7 project site and ordered its workers to vacate all work locations under its purview.
